Tim and I decided to go to Disneyland the one day in October that it decided to rain. We planned it in advance since I have to make sub plans when I am absent from work. As the day got closer and we checked out the weather, we saw that it was going to rain. We decided to go anyways. Well...it rained the entire time we were there.

We definitely dressed Rachel better than us. (She actually looked like Minnie Mouse in her raincoat.) The only part of her that got wet was part of her legs. I brought her extra pants and changed them at one point, but she still got wet. Tim and I were pretty much wet from head to toe.

The first ride we went on was the Jungle Cruise. She really liked it and it kept us pretty dry.

After being there for a couple of hours, we decided that Captain EO would be a great idea. It was nice and dry! She wore the 3D glasses a bit during the movie, but wouldn't keep them on the whole time.

She REALLY wanted to go on the rocketships. She saw them when we got there and it was pouring rain. I told her later. When we got off of Nemo, it was barely sprinkling and we decided to make a go of it. As we waited in line (there actually wasn't a line, we just had to wait for them to come back to Earth), the sprinkling turned to rain, but Rachel and I went on it anyway. Tim was laughing at us the entire time.

She loved the castle!

We left at around 3. We changed in the car and she was passed out before we left the parking garage. We had a great time even though it was wet.
Since we didn't get to go on a lot of the rides since it was pouring, Rachel and I decided to go back on a Sunday a few weeks later. Tim did not join us this time (it was a Sunday during football season, need I say more???). You can tell by how we were dressed, it was a much nicer day this time.

We met up with a coworker and her kids this time. While we waited for them to get there, we went on the carousel. From all of my posts in the past, you should all know that she loves the carousel. She kept sticking her tongue out this time.

She showed me that she can do taco tongue though!

A nice man in front of us offered to take our picture...and again, she has her tongue out!

She went on the Casey Jr. train ride for the first time and loved it, but has some silly eyes in this picture.

We didn't bring the stroller in either time. The first time it was fine since Tim was with me and we took turns holding her when needed. She did pretty good walking around on her own too. The second time was much harder since it was only me. On the way back to the car (which is a much longer walk than I realized since I was carrying a 2 year old after many hours of walking around), I put her on my shoulders since my arms were getting tired. She rested her chin on the top of my head and I could feel it bobbing up and down with every step I took. I eventually got her down and carried her in my arms. She was asleep before we even got on the tram to go back to our car. She was one tired little girl, and I was one tired Mommy (which is what she now calls me as of this past week instead of Mama). We both really love Disneyland.
