Gardening

I think that Rachel is going to be a great helper to Nana and her gardening.
She was wearing her Nana's gardening gloves and was digging holes with her "digger" last weekend.

I think that this duo will get a lot of gardening done and when Rachel's "Great-Nana" comes for a visit this summer, the trio will make everything look beautiful.

This video is a prime example of how Rachel is all of the time. She is always happy and is always running. She runs to the end of the sidewalk, runs in a circle (which is her dancing), and then runs back, smiling with her gardening gloves on.

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day, we went to a French restaurant in Rancho Bernardo for brunch with the Hodgsons.
Rachel just wanted to sit in my lap most of the time. She has been semi-clingy to me since Easter break.

Heather and Bryce at brunch. He left that evening to travel for work and Rachel talks about how Papa is on the zippy (airplane) almost every day.

Rachel and I went to play outside while the boys paid the bill. We were there for almost 2 hours and she needed to run around for a bit before we drove up to Aguanga.

We then celebrated Mother's Day with my mom.

Rachel is wearing her sunglasses in the house. She doesn't understand that they are meant for outside. Yesterday, she was wearing a pair inside Target and got mad at me for having mine on the top of my head and not on my eyes. She kept telling me to put them on. It was really funny.

I don't know who looks cuter in the sunglasses, Rachel or my mom???

Princess Rachel

Rachel is such a little princess these days and got these dress-up clothes from my aunt for her birthday and loves it.
It was hard to get a picture because she kept trying to run and see the picture of herself on the camera before I could even snap a picture. I was lucky to get this one before she ran to me.

She spent a lot of time checking herself out in the mirror.

This picture was taken the same day. So, the little princess has rice all over her face. If she knew it, she wouldn't have been happy. If she has stuff on her, she says "mess" over and over until I clean it up.

A Visit From My Sister

I finally got to see my sister after 9 long months. She came out for Amanda's bridal shower. She will be out again in a few weeks for the wedding too.

We were all asked to bring a pair of panties in addition to our gift and so Amanda got almost 30 pairs of underwear and she had to guess who brought each one.

Here is the clothes line of underwear.

Brianne wanted to get a picture of her with her best friend, which was hard to do since her family wanted to be in all of the pictures.

I finally got one with just the two of them and it turned out really cute.

On Sunday, we headed up to my moms and Brianne got to hang out with Rachel. Well actually, Rachel was the one hanging around :)

We went on a walk to feed the horses.

This is kind of a big deal for Brianne. After being bucked off a horse when she was little, she is still afraid of horses.

Momma loves her baby girl!

She really likes horses from a distance, but it took her a little while to warm up to them and actually pet them.

For the past month or two, Rachel has been really into her sunglasses. She loves to wear them all of the time.
