Tim and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary last Friday. He planned a night out that included some wonderful surprises.
We stayed in the Gaslamp in Downtown San Diego.
We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel.
We got a beautiful room overlooking the pool and we had our own private balcony.
We exchanged gifts. He got me a beautiful necklace.
I got him some Padres gear.
We ate dinner at Searsucker and at the end of the dinner they brought out a delicious dessert.
Then we met Brian Malarkey, chef and owner of Searsucker. He was on Top Chef a couple of seasons ago.
After dinner, we walked up to this place. I had no idea what we were doing.
When we walked in, Tim told me it was 1920's speakeasy called Prohibition. They made some fabulous drinks.
At the end of the night, we headed back to Hard Rock and went to their club called Float. We had such a great night. What a way to celebrate 5 years of being married :)
