My sweet little baby turned 20 months this week.

She just doesn't seem like a baby anymore. She is a little girl and I love every single inch of her!
She is really trying to learn to talk these days. The first time she says a new word she whispers it a few times before she actually says it. She asks what everything is and has us repeat everything over and over and watches our mouths to see how we say it. Her newest word today was "bubble" but it actually meant balloon. Interestingly enough, she doesn't say bubble for bubbles. We spend a lot of time asking what the different animals say. The ones we do all of the time are: puppy, kitty, duck, elephant, frog, fish, bird, bunny, bee, mouse, lion, tiger, sheep, horse, rooster, cow, pig, and chicken (and car, truck, and plane). Many of these have hand or body gestures that she does with it every time too.
She really loves to stack things and see how to fit things together. She also likes to count everything, even though she doesn't say numbers, she counts in her own language. Tim's mom discovered today that yesterday Rachel had lined up her crackers in a straight line in a drawer and closed them in it.
She laughs all of the time and is very social. We went to the park today and she liked the playground, but we spent most of the time going up to everyone to see what they were up to. She loves dogs (and actually all animals) and we played with one in the park today for over a half an hour. She also loves to be outdoors. She really wants to discover what is out there.
She is a great sleeper. She sleeps through the night most nights. She usually goes to bed around 7:30 pm and gets up around 6:30 am and takes at least one nap a day.
She LOVES Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and could watch it for hours if we let her. She also like Olivia, Wonder Pets, Jungle Junction, Special Agent Oso, and a few others.
She is still a very picky eater, but if she likes something, she will eat plenty of it.
I love her smile when she is posing. She squints her eyes and gives me a big smile and then claps every time after I take the picture.
She loves to read. She gets her books out all of the time and reads by herself or brings the books to us. She doesn't have the patience to listen to all of the words in the story. She points to things and wants us to say them over and over.
She is such a sweetheart and I wouldn't change a thing about her!!!
