Tim's parents had a playset at their house that was about 20 years old.
Here is a picture of it after Bryce disassembled it.
(I didn't get a picture of what it looked like before.)
They had a swing that they bought Rachel that was on it and when Rachel saw it on the ground, she wanted to swing in it.
Here is the space for the playset.
Last weekend, Tim, his dad, and David went and picked up the new one from one of my old soccer teammates who gave it to us because her kids had outgrown it. Here it is, ready to be set up.
Hard at work today.
There were 5 men working on putting it together.

They worked on it for about 6 hours today.
Rachel was looking for ways to stay busy while they worked on her new playset.
Here it is! It still needs the tarp that my mom is working on and a couple more screws that are missing.
It is so great!
Rachel was saying wee over and over while she was on the swing.
Her favorite part is the slide. I helped her climb the ladder and she would go straight to the slide and go down. She did it over and over again.
As you can see, she loooooves her new slide.

Thank you Lois for the playset.....David and Maryann for driving all the way down and helping ....Tim, Sam, Adrian, Bryce for all the hard labor....Matt for the post construction burgers and Rachel for the sunny smiles for a job well done ... nothing like a family work party to get the job done (PS enjoyed the scouting trip Heather, our great photography and the company in the kitchen keeping the work party happy!)
Wow what a cool playset!! Every little kids dream! Can't wait to come play with it too! Oh yeah Grant can't wait either!!
